This is most of the Olympic range in one frame. I am taking a real camera to this spot tonight.

One of my brothers (the 20 year old) and his girlfriend were visiting for a few days so we watched Johnny Mnemonic and Tank Girl with them educating the children!

Wow. In an utterly bizarre and confusing turn of events, whoever took my bike last friday returned it this morning. I took my trash and recycling out last night for the pick up. THis morning when I went to get the cans back, my bike was leaned up against the fence about ten feet from where it had been taken. No damages, not a scratch. The Mach 1 has a very compact geometry. Couple that with the SPD clip-in pedals and the jacked-up, rebuilt transmission... I figure they had a hard time riding the thing. Whatever. I GOT MY BIKE BACK!!!

So I'm trying to understand if you're just trying to be as obnoxious as possible to provoke us to do this so....what? So you can beat your breast and cry about how terrible everyone is? Or is it supposed to justify you to do something awful? You were stupidly offensive to Arkan and he decided he didn't have time for that. So now he's a fucker? Also trying to work out why you give a flying fuck what we "fuckers" "dipshits" etc. think about you or anything. People on this board and especially on the old board have done *nothing* to you but try to be friends and help you out and you're so fucking miserable you snarl at us for being stupid enough to try. Whatever.

I only rarely engage on social media anymore. I still scroll through the endless feeds from time to time but find it increasingly less interesting. Especially twitter, like it's great that a lot of you are politically aware but jeez there is only so many "here's another bad thing in US politic" tweets I can take. I get GR's comment about reddit, 4chan, etc... and FWIW I do think it's good advice. But take it as you want Xen0.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My suggestion to get off reddit and 4chan was and is because those are profoundly toxic communities to surround yourself in. Somehow, your further comments are the perfect illustration of *why* someone might suggest staying away from toxic places.

I MIGHT HAVE A PERM, FULL-TIME SOFTWARE ENGINEERING JOB LINED UP will give updates meanwhile, holy fuck, is there ever a staffing shortage. Haha. The temp agencies I go through seem about ready to lick my butthole for me to, like, spend an hour unloading a truck As an line/associate worker, this fucking delights me. And, if you're in the Seattle area around 2019, this is a fucking sweet time to risk for better: whether hunting for a new job, or agitating for, like, a union and better wages and shit. The fucked up thing is it costs so much to live in Seattle, that I am certain there are plenty of working homeless around here. Hey, you stupid monied fucks: maybe stop whining about staffing shortages, and, you know, pony up some better pay rates for the supple and demand shit.

Let's not forget Sir Terry Prattchett, best selling British writer in the 90s. Actually I find that I am missing the little asides, the complicity with the reader that is so prevalent in the book but are difficult to translate in images unless you are willing to break the 4th wall. Something that IMO Fleabag does very well, but it disturbs or distracts many people. In the case of Good Omens the ending was foreordained, it is the traject what is important. Enjoying a lot Doom Patrol. It seems like DC response to Legion, and a quite good one, mixing the same irreverence in a more conventional superhero structure. And they are more relatable than Legion's characters. I am also watching Deadly Class and Heathers, but mainly because I never could relate to the US High School experience, so in a way this is more understandable. Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie ever. Because it ends as it has to.

When I worked LP, I had to adjust my interactive approach for things like mental illnesses, drug abuse and other internal and external factors that often prompted seemingly irrational behaviour from otherwise friendly people. Always just chalked it up to an imbalance of some sort. God knows we all have our moments. At least, I do.

Disney turned it into such a franchise-mill that I was already bored of it even before the first new Star Wars movie came out. I still haven't seen any of them. I did try rewatching the originals a while back, and honestly... the first one is really kind of terrible. So I gave up on that too.

"Star Wars" is actually a very mediocre franchise, and Yoda is a garbage little goblin whose ideology seems like it was cooked up by, like, some middle school kid

Thank you, I'll post more. I was tasked with making that wall into a chalk board, and in my encouraging others to use it, i seem to have rekindled my love of illustration. That sunset one was for a photographers retirement. The portrait we commissioned from a local artist.

It is not mine, and my own limited poetry experiments are always in Spanish anyway. But this touches me in all the wrong places. A.E. Housman He would not stay for me, and who can wonder? He would not stay for me to stand and gaze. I shook his hand, and tore my heart in sunder, And went with half my life about my ways.

Thinking about the etymology of "clown": it basically is old timey speak for "rural"/"hick"/"hillbilly"/"yokel". A lot of languages still preserve this ("payaso" in Spanish meaning clown, and an obvious cousin to "paysano" or "compesino", i.e. peasant). You see this with, for instance, the grave diggers in "Hamlet". Anyway, I guess my point is "Deliverence" had evil clowns pre-dating Tim Curry making them big
